Nissan Europe now presents its smart vehicle, bringing the brilliant idea of employing the engine and drivetrain of the newest GT- R into the Juke small crossover. Yes, the vehicle named the Nissan Juke- R is one of the coolest ideas in the automotive history.
The street legal prototype is now still in development progress which has been building in conjunction with motorsports outfit RML with the energy from Nissan Technology Centre for Europe (NTC- E). The Nissan Juke- R is expected to be empowered by the GT- R’s 3.8 liter twin turbo V6 engine placed under its hood, producing output of 530 hp power at 6,400 rpm in standard version and 6122 Nm or torque reached between 3,200 and 6,000 rpm.
The great Godzilla’s six- speed transaxle attached to the Juke- R placed under the boot. On the other side, a redesigned GT- R 4WD driveline and prop shaft join the front and the rear ends.
Nissan itself is now planning to take carbon fiber aero kit in modifying the exterior body covering a host of GT- R style touches, for example the hood vents and rear wing. This Godzilla soul vehicle will stand on high- performance wrapped 20-inch RAYS forged alloy rims.
Inside the car can be found a restyled dashboard which neatly accommodates the gauges, dials and 7 inch customizable LCD display derived from the GT- R. the passenger and driver’s seat have been completed with five- point seat belt. In order to set a FIA specification racing roll cage, the rear seats have been dismissed.
The Senior Vice President, Paul Willcox stated that the Juke- R presents the most exciting car both in road and track in Nissan range along with excellent technical innovation, delivering a dynamic driving experience.
The customers will be offered two choices of the Nissan Juke- R examples. One is the left- hand drive model and the other is the right- hand drive model. It seems, if there is public’s good responds, Nissan probably going to offer the Juke –R in limited number.
