Recently, Kia is expanding its race car program by launching the Kia Rio based B spec race car. The Rio which comes in the from of five- door has been equipped with the necessary safety features such as a stripped- out interior, suspension components, and roll cage and other more features. Those all components are all provided by the KMA’s B- Spec entry in order to be able to face against its rivals.
Anything related to the first ever GRAND- AM road racing championships, Kia Motors America’s expansion to the brand’s U.S motorsports program will be announced at the next SEMA Show by presenting the Rio B spec showroom stock race car. In addition, the Rio B Spec is expected to go on Kia’s showrooms at the end of this month.
Michael Sprague who is the vice president of marketing and communications or KMA stated that the company itself greatly emphasize on the vehicle’s exceptional performance as the philosophy of the Kia brand. The Kia Rio B spec has been built with the fast development of the Kia Racing program, offering both an exclusive and handsome- looking race car and the highest class output in the hastily growing B- segment. Kia will take the opportunity of the launch of the 2012 Rio 5 door to promote Kia’s new and passionate racing community by providing all of those great performances.
The Rio 5 door B spec race car was built to be appropriate to race in various case, such as the GRAND- AM, World Challenge, the SCCA or short of Sports Car Club of America, National Auto Sport Association or NASA in short and many others.
It said that in its SEMA Show press conference which will be held on Tuesday, November 1 at 9:30 a.m., Kia will also introduce the five other additional vehicles which gained with high- profile partners besides unveiling the further details about the Rio 5 door B spec program.
