Comes in the form of 1+2 door, the new Hyundai has already just arrived on markets in many countries around the world. The new Hyundai Veloster is available with a single choice and two main trim levels, those are base and sport. Empowered by a 1.6 liter four- cylinder GDI petrol engine, the Veloster is offered with a starting price of £17,995 inlcuding the insurance group rating of 16E and delivering fee. In British markets, it will arrive in February next year.
The 1.6 liter petrol engine delivers output of 140 hp of power. The unit can be mated to a six speed manual gearbox or Hyundai’s first dual- clutch transmission. the Veloster is able to figure CO2 emissions of 137 g/km and fuel efficiency of 47.9 mpg UK in a combined cycle when mated to Hyundai’s Blue drive technologies, such as the Intelligent Stop & Go system and low rolling resistance tires.
The Hyundai Veloster boasts a host of features as standard including 17-inch alloy wheels, a 7-in Touch screen media centre which is able to play games through consoles and films from smart phones, Bluetooth Connectivity along with voice recognition, climate control air conditioning, reversing sensors, both front and rear fog lights and LED daytime running lights.
Other features, including An RDS Radio/CD Player with MP3/WMA compatibility and an iPod connection are also come as standard.
The Sport version equipped with different features including 18-inch alloy wheels with colour inserts, black leather upholstery with heated front seats, keyless entry with engine start/stop button, a panoramic sunroof with tilt and slide function, cruise control and aluminum pedals.
The Veloster Sport set its price a slightly more expensive than the other at £20,495 for the 1.6 GDi 4dr including the destination fee and the same insurance group rating of 16E, while the Sport 1.6 GDi 4dr DCT cost at £21,795.
