Subaru has already brought both of its creation, the 2012 Subaru Impreza and XV to join a test before both of them arrive on sale a couples of months later in Australia.
The company has planned to bring the all- new Subaru XV to arrive on sale due in January next year. While the 2012 Subaru Impreza range will go on local dealerships following the XV in the first quarter of next year.
Unfortunately the company has not released the price and details of both vehicles. However its price is expected to be a little different with the previous models. The Impreza range is estimated to be priced from $23,990 to $30,490, while the Impreza XV is set in somewhat higher from $27,490 to $29,490.
Subaru’s totally new horizontally opposed 2.0 liter four cylinder FB Boxer engine will empower the new Impreza and XV, producing output of 110 kW of power and 196 Nm of torque at 4200 rpm.
Subaru itself promises to take a significant movement by delivering refined features, technologically- developed and effectiveness.
According to the previous report, the Impreza- based WRX and WRX STI models on the other hand are planned to have debut at around 18 months after that of the standard model, estimated at approximately in the second half of the next two years later.
Apart from the engine, let’s move on the design of both new models. Compared to the outgoing models, the new vehicles come in more futuristic and aggressive look, and also cleaner and more solid exterior styling.
The interiors also enjoy a major makeover, with significant upgrades to material quality, cabin technology, and the overall layout. Inside the car now provided an additional space of 50 mm of legroom for rear- seat passengers since it features with longer wheelbase. The automakers also refine the visibility of the cars by totally reworking the new A- pillars.
