HDT or short of Holden Dealer Team has been established by Peter Brock at the late eighties. After Peter Brock started to openly support and provide all of HDT models with the device dubbed as Energy Polariser, He then was broken up from the GM’s Australian division.
The Energy Polariser itself is a kind of box which contain of crystals and magnets that strangely able to collect all the washed energy from the car and collect it back. It make the performance of the vehicle and handling better with the aligning the molecules. Such a creepy stuff!
After that, Holden Brock seems to experience a strange stage in his life, yet he was sure that the Energy Polariser would be able to refine the car’s performance.
Two decades later, Holden Brock died in a fatal racing accident in the past 2006. It is a tribute to him as Australian legend in the HDT’s new VL/VE Group A Plus Pack based on the newest Commodore by making a comeback to the Energy Polariser.
Beside completed with the Energy Polariser, the HDT’s application equipped with all the design characteristics of the classic previous model, such as 1980′s type aero components, a huge bonnet scoop, large 20-inch alloy wheels, original Peppermint Red body finish, a Bilstein suspension package, performance brakes. A classic design also continues inside its interior features rectangular headrests.
The vehicle get power from a tuned 6.2 liter V8 LS engine, producing output of 350 kW or equal to 470 ponies and 610 Nm of peak of torque or 450 lb- ft. if such a great power do not contented your needs, the vehicle also available with the optional supercharger package.
The VL/VE Group A Plus Pack Commodore will be completed with its build papers, Peter Brocks’ autograph and individual build plate for each. Unfortunately, it will be offered in as many 250 unit vehicles.
