Sadly there is no more RX- 8 anymore in the Mazda line. As the result, some of you who are the fans of it may be disappointed of it. However lately the Hiroshima based automaker has now worked in developing the new concept which could cure your disaffection.
Now Mazda is working on a creation named the new Mazda Takeri. The company is expected to launch its latest concept on November 30 this year at the 42nd Tokyo Motor Show. The Takeri is said to be one which offers us with a little look of the Mazda6 range replacement. The vehicle comes in the form of a mid- size sedan that is said to go on sale in the first half of the next two years.
The concept vehicle is claimed will be identical to its production version, just like the others new Mazda models. The vehicle has been built based on the design of the firm’s new ‘KODO- Soul of Motion’.
Both inside and out the Takeri offers its buyers with so interesting styling since the primary design cues of it is derived from the Shinari sports sedan study.
Although the further details and specifications of the Takeri have not yet to be unveiled, the company stated that a Skyactive D diesel engine completed with some fuel- saving gizmos along with auto stop/start which also has been employed at Mazda’s first kinetic energy recovery system will empower the Takeri.
The auto stop/ start is employed to save energy which unless can be dissolute as heat during braking. The system change the energy to electricity, distributed it to the capacitors. Then the energy will be further used to sport the cars auxiliary electric systems and then minimize engine consumption.
