Honda has already put slight changes for the 2012 Ridgeline pickup model year. We also have known that Honda is preparing for a new Sport model. However, Honda has recently informed its details covering its pricing.
The Ridgeline range for 2012 model year starts from $29,350 including delivery fee at $810 for the base level, the RT model to higher $37, 180 along with delivery fee for the top model, the RTL completed with navigation. The most important is the new Sport model which is compared to the base level RT, its only $749 higher. The Sport model also completed with visual a number of visual goodies such as the 18 alloys while 17 inch steelies for the base RT, honeycomb grille painted in black, rear windows and fog lamps which also black colored.
Entering inside the car, we found its wheel wrapped in leather equipped with audio controls, an aux input placed on the stereo and floor mats. Some alteration can bee noticeably seen on its new front grille and a number of small aero improvements which supports the vehicle to be able to deliver improved fuel economy which figured at 15 mpg city and 21 mpg highway. It means the fuel efficiency is increased by 1 mpg on the city. The old engine, the 3.5 liter V6 is remain unchanged, empowering the Sport, spawning output of 250 ponies and 247 pound- feet of torque.
Although Honda as long still received slow sales growth, it convinced that a glowing future may be delivered by this new Ridgeline Sport. It is said that the new model for 2012 CR- V will bring a light- duty pickup variant at some point down the road. However that news is just a rumor and it is not certain yet. Furthermore Honda has not officially announced any information about it.
