Is there any hot news for today? Of course yes. The news came from the refreshed 2012 GT- R European and Japanese specification version. And it is the time for the North American version which is said to be ready for sales starts on January 2012 as the next two year model car.
The 2013MY GT- R actually brings the identical alteration with the European model and it is strongly emphasized by the changes of its powerplant. The vehicle is now empowered by the 3.8 liter bi- turbo V6 which include upgraded intake efficiency, less airflow resistance through an increased air intake duct for the intercooler and enhanced exhaust emissions efficiency.
The engine will empower the 2013MY GT- R with output of 545 hp and 463 lb- ft. such a great improvements from 15 ponies and 15 lb- ft of torque over its predecessor model.
Furthermore, the transmission of the 2013MY GT- R has been refined and the suspension has been returned. On the other side, the GT- R Black Edition model also received a handmade dry carbon rear spoiler.
Both GT- R Premium and the GT- R Black Edition models are now equipped with a RearView Monitor, Nissan Navigation System with XM NavTraffic with Real-Time Traffic Information and NavWeather capabilities, and Bluetooth Hands-free Phone System as standard features. The interior also get some changes, including a new blue lighting treatment inside the tachometer ring.
Unluckily we can’t have the lighter and more hardcore GT- R Track edition in this U.S version.
