The new V12 Vantage GT3 has starting to have its test this week. The V12 Vantage GT3 managed in reaching around a thousand kilometers in two days in which that distance traveled is delivered by Darren Turner, the company driver.

Turner himself said, responding on the GT3 that the car is a further improvement from the DBRS9. It is a small car which delivers more rigid and more responsive feeling for the driver. He added that the car also equipped with numerous features V12 accompanied by stylish design which presents the company’s principles.

One who is responsible in designing and engineering the new V12 GT3 endurance racer is Dan Sayers, the Aston Martin Racing’s Chief Engineer.  The program is now coming for various extended testing of the car at competition speeds in order to make sure all of components’ durability.

As said by Turner above, the GT3 is actually built based on the company’s DBRS9 which is revealed in the past 2006 and managed in winning several championships, including the 2007 British GT Championship. From its name, V12 Vantage GT3, it can be easily inferred that this car employs V12 engine. A carbon fibre propshaft, an Xtrac six- speed sequential transmission and limited slip differential work to deliver the power to the rear wheels.

Just for additional information, Aston Martin also brought the DVR9 GT1 in the past GT racing at 2005 and continues at the 24 hours Le Mans in 2007 and 2007, completed its achievement, the GT also won in the FIA GT1 World Championship this year.
