The so called failed luxury brand, Maybach has officially forced to go out by the Daimler automaker. Let’s recall back about this Maybach first. The vehicle, after experienced long sleeping for 62 years, has been rerevealed in the past 2002. The company itself hoped, the Maybach to be able to figure expected- sales rate, just like the other company’s creation, such as Bentley and Rolls- Royce. However, the company indeed felt in a dark valley, in which as many 157 units Maybach vehicles were sold globally at the past 2010. It was so far from the company’s expectation to deliver 1,500 sales rate annually.

Now, the Daimler is planning to fill the empty room left by the Maybach super luxury brand with more exclusive variant of the next- generation Mercedes- Benz S- Class.

After experiencing such poor sales and mounting sufferers, the company has convinced to downgrade the Maybach super luxury and bring the vehicle to the historical record of automotive history.

The company chief executive, Dieter Zetsche stated that the company had have an extensive discussions related to the ways would be chosen in order to lead to the maximum success in the luxury range. The company itself had summarized and chooses Mercedes since the Mercedes Benz brand had a better sales than those of the Maybach.

To cure its wound, the company is set the Mercedes to have double number of S- Class variants from three to six. It is expected the vehicle’s expansion will be able to improve sales rate of 80,000 units will be delivered every year.
