What’s new on this year Tokyo Motor Show? Well, the show is enlivened with the B3 GT3 limited edition. However, that Alpina is not alone to perform in the stage, since the automaker also brings the coupe version of its B6 BiTurbo which was built based on the company’s newest 650i.

This Alpina brings several upgraded equipments, such as an intercooled dual turbo system and the extra a fresh titanium exhaust system which is built by the exhaust expert Akrapovic. The system works to help the BMW’s 4.4 liter V8 turbo engine fixed on the Alpina to deliver output of 540 ponies at 5,500 rpm and 700 Nm of torque.

The unit then mated to the exclusively redesigned eight- speed sport automatic transmission from ZF. The power is delivered by this transmission to the rear wheels. With such engine and transmission, the vehicle is able to sprint from standstill to 100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds, reaching its top speed at 320 km/ h or equal to 199 mph.

Make its performance perfect, the B6 BiTurbo stands on a firm suspension and uses upgraded the standard 650i’s electronic kits.

During the display on the Tokyo show, the B6 BiTurbo Coupe is finished in a matte blue vinyl. The exterior has been slightly changed, including its front spoiler which is now completed with an integrated carbon fiber splitter, a rear wing and a rear diffuser both created from carbon fiber.

One of the noticeable features is a new couple of double tailpipes with a slightly elliptical shape on the rear bumper and alloy wheels.

Move inside the cabin, this vehicle employs the company’s three- spoke sports steering wheel and two tones blue and white leather upholstery.
