Renault will be soon unveil its new limited edition of the modern day Megane Coupe- Cabriolet which will make its first public outing on January 10 next year at the Brussels Motor Show. For this creation, indeed the company employs the name of the sixties Floride rear- engine sports car.
A dCi 130 DPF turbo diesel engine will empower the new Megane CC Floride, produces output of 130 ponies. The unit then mated to a six- speed manual gearbox.
The Megane CC Floride will be available in France with its exterior specially finished in pastel ivory which brings back us to the sixties. For the other countries in Europe, the Megane also will be offered in a mainstream red color as optional.
On the other side, there is a retractable panoramic top for the French model which painted in contrasting high- gloss piano hue. Retro style Floride badging also has been added on the front wings. The new 17 inch diamond- effect alloy wheels will be finished in the same shade on the ivory model.
Move inside the car and you will find a two tone red and ivory full- leather interior in harmony with the exterior color scheme applied into its seats and steering wheel. On the dashboard which is finished in red and an ivory trim trip presents a chromed- Floride badge. The letter f is attached on the gear lever knob and the new floor mats. A series sign now has been placed on the center console.
In France, the Megane CC is ready to be ordered with its tag price starts from €33,100 or around US$44,700.
