This is the latest news coming from Suzuki. The automaker who has planned to bring the performance flagship of the new Suzuki Swift model range at the first month of next year, finally has just informed yesterday that the new model will bring a tag price at £13,500.
A new Euro 5 1.6 liter VVT petrol engine empowers the Swift Sport 2012 model year, producing output of 136 ponies of power and 160 Nm of peak of torque at 4,000 rpm. the unit then mated to a six speed manual transmission which delivers the power to the front wheels.
The Swift Sport is claimed to be able to sprint from standstill to 62 mph or 100 km/ h in 8.7 seconds sprint time, reaching its top speed at 121 mph or equal to 195 km/h. the fuel economy is figured of 44.1 mpg UK or 36.7 mph US at combined cycle.
The Sport stands on larger 17 inch alloy wheels mounted on 195/45R17 tires. in order to improve its handling, now the vehicle also features a more rigid suspension setup and an upgraded steering system.
For the exterior, the Swift Sport features an enhanced aero package, such as a bespoke front bumper with a glossy black grille, side skirts, a roof spoiler and a noticeable diffuser and large tail pipes mounted on a modified rear bumper.
Other obvious features inside the car include the sports seats with an exclusive to this model fabric, and the three-spoke steering wheel. The Swift Sport also has been completed with some safety features such as standard auto air conditioning, fog lamps, push button start, cruise control, Bluetooth connectivity, HID Projector headlamps with headlamp wash, ESP and seven airbags.
