From the previous reports, we had expected the sixth generation of the Chevrolet Camaro might arrive in a fresh form in the next two or three years later. However, now some news has spread and suggests that the next- gen Chevy Camaro can appear a different form.
According to some sources, the next- generation Camaro has been processed on the computer system as a 2016 model year vehicle. It is said that the vehicle will be empowered with the 6.2 liter V8 engine which is found on the recent SS model.
The V8 engine seems to be such funny thing for a Camaro due to the fact that other past reports also suggested that the next- generation Chevy Camaro is most likely to arrive on a variation of the platform set to strengthen the upcoming released Cadillac ATS sedan. The ATS sedan itself indeed was not capable to place a V8 engine under its hood.
That’s what I can inform on the next- generation Camaro and General Motor has not yet released any significant details except from past suggestions that said the car will get smaller by around a foot in overall length. However do not hope too much to the change of its wheelbase since this next- gen Camaro seems to have the same wheelbase. The length may not the only thing that will be pushed by the engineers, but also its weight is expected to experience a strict diet to get a slightly lighter weight.
However, the General Motor do know that although having more displacement and more strength over all trim levels Ford’s Mustangs remains deliver a better performance in nearly all kinds of examinations. Ford is also able to keep the vehicle’s weight reduced by nearly three hundred pound.
