We can see that over these period of time, Audi doing everything well. Moreover yesterday it declared its fresh plan to hire as many 1,200 specialists by the next year, while some 3,500 new workers has been hired in this year. Audi is also planning to invest as much €13 billion in new products and technologies in increasing its sites in the next five years.
The Member of the Board of Management for Human Resources at AUDI AG stated that the hiring of the 1,200 specialists in 2012 is aimed to expand the company reaching in the worldwide level and in the same time enhancing the company’s lightweight construction and electric mobility areas of expertise in particular.
The automaker also planning for offering permanent employment contracts to trainees, students from vocational training academies and participants of the Study and Experience in Practice program as they complete their courses. The contract itself is made by the brand and the employees’ elected representatives in order to fulfill the company’s needs for skilled workers in the future.
The €13 billion or equal to US$17 billion fund will be invested through 2012 to 2016. The company claimed that the investment is the biggest over the Audi’s history. As much €10.5 billion or around US$13.7 billion will be spent in creating new models and on the technologies employed in the future development, including the development of electric and hybrid drive system.
Apart of that investment plan, the company also stated that it is planning for three new production models for 2012 model year. The models include the A8 hybrid which will be empowered by a 2.0 four cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine. The second model is the next generation of the A3, and the last is the A6 allroad Quattro 2013 model year along with its pure- electric R8 e-tron which will be presented in a small series.
