The McLaren MP4-12C supercars, last week has been captured by a YouTube user, Jodito20 when appeared on film in Miami, Florida. There are two versions appeared, the one is the regular MP4-12C, while the other was the HS or short of High Sport, that is a customized version of McLaren.
Another news was told by a McLaren salesperson who told Jodito20 that the automaker indeed only built five models.
Jodito20 also wrote on his video channel that the McLaren salesperson did state that the HS stood for High Sport. The salesperson added that there were only five versions would be produced. However they were not from the McLaren Special Operation program and they were not Bespoke Editions although they had experienced some customization.
A reworked front end which is identical to that used on the GT3 racer is equipped in the High Speed variant sports. This front end is working to help increase downforce and the airflow. The HS is empowered by the 3.8 liter V8 turbo intercoolers which set a total output of 675 hp closer to that of the Lamborghini Aventador. What a great power! It means the 3.8 liter is able to increase the power by 75 hp over the previous 458.
The revamped High Sport is based on the styling of the racing model which employs a new bumper, air vents, extended diffuser and reworked rear wing. The highlight of this High Sport is that it get much more power which did not present on the MP4- 12C.
