Lately the Toyota Prius Hybrid has experienced a slightly facelift. Well, this facelifted Prius hybrid now comes in a choice of three trim levels whose the on the road prices ranging from £21,350to £24,620. These Toyota’s creations will have arrived on UK market by this March.
The Prius Hybrid 2012 model year was initially unveiled at the last September at the Frankfurt Motor Show, featuring some slightly enhanced equipment.
Outside, the Prius has been fixed with the latest developed front bumper where new daytime running lights are mounted. Moreover, clear headlamps featuring a revised LED lamp configuration, different tail lamp graphics and a new choice of alloy wheel designs are now available.
As we move inside the cabin and we can find some fresh equipments, including new front seats, new upholstery and softer-touch surfaces. Furthermore the automaker also has enhanced the technological equipment on the all levels of the 2012 Prius Hybrid, such as the company’s Touch touchscreen control system.
In order to improve the comfort and steering feel, the automaker has changed the suspension and steering column.
However, the setup of the 2012 Prius hybrid has experienced nothing. It still retains the 1.8 liter Atkinson cycle petrol engine that mated to a CVT and an electric motor. The unit is able to figure fuel economy of 72.4 mpg UK in combined cycle, while the CO2 emissions is rated at 89g/ km. on the other hand for the model which rides on 17 inch alloy rims, it is capable to figure fuel economy at 70.6 mpg UK and 92 g/ km CO2 emission.
The Prius Hybrid T3 model will bring an on- the- road pricing at £21,350, the Prius T4 will be priced at £23,080 and the highest level, Prius T Spirit will be cost at £24,620.
