In order to celebrate its 75th anniversary, Mopar had presented a new limited edition model of the Chrysler 300. The limited edition will be finished in all black exterior paint with bespoke Mopar appointments, including the chromed grille and accents painted in black, tinted lights, blue pin stripes on the profile and hood, completed with “Mopar 75” fender badges and a package of color matching 20-inch forged alloy wheels. since this is a limited edition version, the automaker will create this Mopar 300 in a limited number of 500 units vehicle.
The noticeable changes have made by the Chrysler division’s tuning and performance arm on its interior including a black leather with blue accent stitiching on the seats and steering wheel, an exclusive Mopar shifter handle, special sill plates and badges, and the instrument panel and center console sections wrapped in matte carbon hydrographic accents.
The limited edition Mopar will be sported by 5.7 lite HEMI V-8 engine which produces output of 363 hp. the unit then mated to a five- speed auto transmission that enables the vehicle to run from standstill to 60 mph in the low 5 seconds range sprint time.
The Mopar 300 Special edition also features an upgraded suspension which receives as much 42 percent stiffer front and 23 percent more rigid rear spring rates. In addition, to improve grip and braking, new Mopar has been fixed with stickier P245/45R20 Goodyear Eagle F1 three-season tires and dual piston front and single piston rear calipers which house high-performance brake linings.
The buyers of the 12 300 are also allowed to personalize owner kit, such as the vehicle identification number (VIN), exact date of manufacture and the number of the vehicle, added with an original sketch of the car signed by the designer and the official brochure.
The Mopar 300 special will be displayed on this year Chicago Auto Show from February 10 to 19 and will arrive on showrooms this summer with a price tag of $49,700 including destination fee.
