Finally, the official pictures of the final production version of the Aston Martin V12 Zagato had been released. In the last year’s Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este in Italy, the concept car was first rolled out in the road and racing versions.
The V12 Zagato production version was actually built as the ultimate Vantage by Italian coachbuilder Zagato in order to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the 1962 DB4GT Zagato as the first Zagato and Aston Martin enterprise.
The automaker will just build the new V12 Zagato in limited number only. The bonnet of the new Zagato is hand- crafted aluminum along with the double- bubble roof and doors. The automaker also makes use of carbon fiber for the fornt and rear fenders, door sills and boot lid surround. Moreover, the company will offer the buyers with a choice of four bespoke exterior colors, covering Scintilla Silver, Alloro Green, Alba Blue and Diavolo Red.
Although it is difficult to tell what the cabin looks like from the picture, the new V12 is most likely to have its cabin decorated in a combination of black leather and alcantara with decorative red stitching completed with carbon fiber trims.
The new vehicle is empowered by the standard Vantage’s naturally aspirated 6.0 liter V12, spawning output of 517 PS and 570 Nm of torque. The unit is mated to a six- speed manual gearbox which transfers the power.
This new V12 Zagato will have its global debut at this year Kuwait Concours d’Elegance which will be held next week, while the production of the vehicle will be began in the third quarter of the year and the first deliveries in the fourth quarter.
The V12 Zagato will run for only 150 cars which will be offered for pre- order. With that ponies and styling, the V12 Zagato is cost of £330,000 or around US$519,700 or €398,500 including the taxes.
