In order to calculate the European public response of the more distinct Compass before coming to a decision whether to let the vehicle enter the market place, Jeep has already publicize the production- intent special edition concept which will have its public outing at this year Geneva Motor Show. The vehicle itself will be presented at the sixth of March.
Now the Jeep Compass brings a black appearance, featuring gloss- black trim accents applied on its front- end, mirrors, step pads and newly designed 18 inch gloss- black aluminum wheels. Not only presents on the exterior, a host of new details also present on its interior including leather seats, front and rear bright sill covers.
The engineers have already toke a 2.2 liter turbo diesel engine to be fitted on the Jeep Compass. The diesel unit is capable in delivering a total output of 163 hp or around 122 kW and 320 Nm or 237 lb- ft of torque. Apart of that engine, the Jeep Compass black look concept also will be equipped with an active Full- time Freedom Drive I four- wheel- drive system.
Other features also have been fitted into the Jeep Compass. Two of them are infotainment system that is completed with the UConnect multimedia navigation and entertainment system which is presented on a 6.5 inch touch screen, 30 gigabyte hard disk, USB compatibility, AUX port, DVD player, Bluetooth UConnect Phone and 9-speaker premium Boston Acoustics sound system.
