This is good news for you who are deeply in love with the new VW Passat Alltrack. Well, the vehicle which was initially showed off at the previous Tokyo Auto Show is finally being offered on the European markets started from now on.
The German automaker also has dropped some new photos of the Passat Alltrack which highlight the vehicle’s high- riding model. the model itself features the regular bells and whistles derived from an estate model that then changed into a soft- roader.
The automaker has applied protective black plastic cladding around the wheelarches and side sills, a bespoke set of alloy wheels, chrome- door mirrors finished in matte, roof rails, window surrounds, well front and rear underbody plates. As the result, the exterior of the Audi A44 Allroad’s more cost- effective cousin applies more rigid looks.
The buyers of the Passat will be allowed to choose a choice of four engines, including a 2.0 liter TDI diesel engine which delivers output of 140 PS or 170 PS, a 1.8 liter TSI petrol which spawns a total of 160 PS of power and the last is a 2.0 liter TSI that hits 210 PS.
The engineers also have increased the vehicle’s ground clearance to 165 mm. the angle also has been raised by 16 degress while the departure angle at the rear was improved to 13.6 degrees. Furthermore, the ramp angle for crossing over a hill also has been raised to 12.8 degrees. Apart of those raised degrees, in order to deal effectively with some light off- road driving, the Passat is also equipped with the 4Motion all- wheel drive system.
