The Lotus Evora GTE Formula 1- inspired special edition which was previously appeared on its global launch in Frankfurt Motor Show last year is ahead to the Geneva Motor Show on March 6. Lotus F1 Team driver, Kimi Raikkonen is the one who will drive this street- legal variant of the GTE race car.
A 3.5 liter V6 engine is mounted into the Evora GTE road car which is able to spawn output of 444 PS or around 327 kW or as much 438 hp. the unit then mated to a sequential AMT or short of Automated Manual Transmission racing gearbox that delivers the power. This new Evora GTE road car is claimed as lightweight racecar, riding on forged alloy wheels with central locking covered with Pirelli P- Zero Corsa tires.
The automaker said that the weight of the Evora GTE has been significantly reduced by 105 kg or 227 lbs over the regular Evora model. Thanks to the wide use of carbon- fiber into the vehicle’s chassis. The engineers also have applied carbon fiber into the car’s interior. And to complete the lightweight carbon fiber, the seats have also trimmed in fine leather.
