After the unveiling of the new Ferrari F12 Berlinetta this week at the Geneva Motor Show, the automaker is expected to have another plan in developing the open top version of the Berlinetta Spyder. Supporting the rumor, here are some spread pictures of the model taken from artist E Milano who posted them to the Worldcarfans facebook page. Just check the pictures provided below as you like.
From the pictures we can clearly see that the roof of the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta Spyder has been taken off. A slight change also appears on the rear end that gradually makes the fastest car ever built by Ferrari appears more potent and aggressive.
The new variant of Berlinetta Spyder is expected to get an impact of the changes on its weight and aerodynamic. The regular F12 Berlinetta Spyder is measured at 1525 kg or 3362 lbs. with such weight the Berlinetta is empowered by a 6.2 liter or 6262 cc V12 engine that is good for 740 Hp and 690 Nm or equal to 509 lb- ft of torque. The vehicle is able to sprint from zero to a hundred kilos per hour or 62 mph in just 3.1 seconds sprint time, while reaching a top speed of 200 kph in 8.5 seconds.
Looking back on the 599 GTB Fiorano that indeed spent nearly four year in order to bring an open top variant, we may take this phenomenon into account and we may wait for the F12 Berlinetta open top production version for four years later.
