The Terrain whose the entry- level crossover model placed under the Acadia had be brought in front of public three years ago.
However, now the automaker will display the Terrain as 2013 model year in the vehicle’s global launch that will be held in April at the New York International Auto Show.
The fresh 2013 Terrain also surely brings a fresh mechanical. Well, the 2013 Terrain has got rid off this old 3.0 liter V6 version and toke a new 3.6 liter V6 unit. For the first time, the engineers also introduce the Denali variant into the Terrain.
Both regular Terrain and the Luxed- up Terrain Denali will be offered with the new 3.6 liter V6 that is so good for 301 hp and 369 Nm of torque. it means the new unit is able to deliver improved output by 37 hp of power and as much 50 NM of torque.
Although the power is consequently improved, the new Terrain is returning the same fuel economy as produced by the previous model in 17 mpg city and 24 mpg highway.
Apart of the 3.6 liter V6, the automaker is still retaining the 2.4 liter Ecotec four- cylinder engine that remain with its 182 hp. the unit also will be available on Denali variant. Both the 3.6 liter V6 and the 2.4 liter Ecotec will be available with all- wheel drive as optional.
Apart of that, the Terrain features an exterior package including bespoke 18-inch wheels for the 4-cylinder model and 19-inch for the V6, a chrome grille and satin chrome accents, different headlamp and taillight designs, completed with body colored fascias and rocker panels.
Moving inside the car there is exclusive soft touch Jet Black leather with red accent stitching, Denali symbols attached on the seats, mahogany wood trim accents for the dash and the steering wheel, added with eight-way power driver and passenger seat.
