The latest report on Jeep stated that the previously debuted production intent Jeep Grand Cherokee Concept we have seen before at the 2012 Houston Auto Show in the end of January this year is expected to be dubbed as the Altitude.

The carmaker has decided to debut the same ‘Altitude’ package for the Compass and Patriot too since previously the ‘Name My Ride’ competition on Facebook had reaped a great success.

Mike Manley who is the Jeep boss said that the astonishing reaction to bot the concept vehicle and the competition represented a blacked- out editions of the Grand Cherokee and the Compass and Patriot.

The all Altitude models will reach the brand’s dealerships May this year. in addition, apart of the black finish, the company will provide the customers with a range of additional body paints as well for the three Altitude models.

The first model, the Grand Cherokee Altitude will be offered in Deep Cherry Red, Brilliant Black, Mineral Gray, Bright Silver Metallic, Maximum Steel Metallic and Stone White. The grille surround will be available in black finish completed with 20 inch alloy wheels, a platinum chrome finish for the mesh grille insert and lower fascia applique, added with headlamp bezels finished in black and liftgate light bar.

The 4×2 Grand Cherokee Altitude will have a price tag at $35,595, while the AWD versions will be offered at $37,595. With such prices, the Altitude will be equipped with some features as standard, such as leather-trimmed seats, steering wheel and shifter, a 9-speaker audio system with iPod/MP3 connectivity and a rear back-up camera.

The next level is the Compass Altitude that is available with a choice of three exterior colors, Deep Cherry Red, Black, Mineral Gray and Bright White. A black gloss grille, roof rails, back step pad and 18-inch wheels will be offered in all.

The Compass Altitude can be ordered with a price tag starting from $22,190 for the 4×2 models to $23,940 for 4×4 variants.

A choice of three colors exterior is also available in the last model, the Patriot Altitude. This Altitude will get 17-inch high-gloss black aluminum wheels with Firestone BSW all-season touring tires, a bright chrome lower fascia and rear step pad appliques, and bright polished steel roof rails. For the 4×2 models the company set a price tag of $20,240 and $23,275 for the all-wheel drive models.
