The American vehicle luxury marquee owned by GM is enhancing its best- seller for next year model. Cadillac takes the SRX crossover to get some technology improvements that cover CUE. CUE is the latest developed new infotainment system from Cadillac.
The CUE itself is short of Cadillac User Experience that makes use of touch screen to control wide range of its system. The functions provided by the CUE including interfacing with a driver’s smartphone. Many other features are also provided that are not exist in the previous CUE’s features such as offer proximity sensing and hectic feedback. The latest display of the CUE will change as a driver’s hand is close to the display and it provides feedback to his or her selection. The CUE is really aimed for how we interact with our vehicles, access as much information on the road and adapt our cars to go with our individual requirements.
Not only update its infotainment features, the engineers also have upgrade the car’s safety equipment with the luxury brand’s Safety Alert Seat. The Safety Alert Seat will be available in two packages. The first is called ‘Driver Awareness’ that emphasizes on crash prevention by providing driver alerts. The second package is dubbed as ‘Driver Assist’ that will offer vehicle intervention as well.
The 2013 Cadillac SRX also has got an active noise cancellation completed with revamped steering wheel and shifter and upgraded instrument cluster in order to house the CUE. The overall changes are added with some other features including some new USB and SD card ports, minor rear-seat entertainment upgrades, standard HD radio, and new interior color combinations.
