Now, the time for Tesla Motor to take out the first Model S from the brand’s plant at Fremont, California is approaching. Based on the letter from the company to the prospective customers attached on the company’s blog last week, the company will offer the Model S interior with a choice of three additional colors including the Piano Black, Lacewood and Banana Leaf. In addition, Internet connectivity will be available in all model cars as optional feature. It is also confirmed that Tesla would send the cars to the customer’s location personally.
The company has set a price of $57,400 for the Model S with a 160 mile single- charge range excluding the $7,500 tax credit, while the Model S with a 300- mile- range model will be cost at around $77,000.
In the beginning of this year, the company stated that this year a sale for the Model S that is actually the second model from Tesla after the Roadster will be triple last year’s revenue at $204.2 million. For this year, the company expects the Model S sales will be at 5,000 units. It means that the company forecast for this year is more than double the 2,100 units Roadster at $109,000 that were sold out through the past four years.
Well, for you who are so madly in love with Tesla Model S just prepare that amount of money and be patient to wait the model rolling out from the Fremont at July.
