Yesterday, we still continue wondering what the Fiat mystery model is. Fiat also has announced that the new model will be manufactured by Maserati in Modena, Italy together with the Quattroporte and Gran Turismo that will be started in May next year. However, some information comes from the company sources who suggested that the mystery model is the next generation Alfa Romeo 4C.
I have attached some pictures of the Alfa 4C model that initially was previewed at the Geneva Motor Show last year, while some updated model was revealed at Frankfurt Motor Show later in the same year.
The Alfa 4C will be benefitted from a mid- positioned 1.8 liter turbocharged engine that is able to deliver output of 200 PS or 147 kW, about 197 bhp from its weight that measured at 850 kg or 1870 lbs.
The company claimed that the rear- wheel- drive two- seater coupe is able to achieve a top speed in 250 kph, equal to 155 mph while sprint away from standstill to 100 kph or 62 mpg in 5 seconds sprint time.
The company is still evaluating production stage probability for the 4C which may lead the company to return to the North American market. Even there are some rumors that suggest it might celebrate its global premiere at the Detroit Auto Show in January. The company sets the new Alfa 4C with an MSRP of nearly €50,000 in Europe. The new Alfa is expected to be manufactured for around 2,500 units per year for Europe.
I provide you with some pictures of matte red- painted 4C when it displayed in Geneva. Feel free to check the images in the gallery bellow.
