Before the company officially held a launch for the Dacia, the Renault Group’s Dacia brand keeps arranging a pre- launch event in the UK. at the event, the company also announced the pre- ordering for the Duster compact SUV. The company claimed that the price for the Duster range will not start over than £10,000, equal to €12,150 or US$16,000 for the front- wheel drive models. on the other hand the price will be lower than £12,500 or about €15,150 or nearly US$19,900 for the 4×4 model.
The Romanian automaker stated that at the new Renault- Nissan Alliance factory in India, the right- hand drive model of the Dacia’s SUV will be manufactured. In January next year, the first model will be available for the UK markets.
Although the engine specification for the UK Dacia has not been announced yet, for the European model, the Dacia Duster comes with a choice of three powerplants for the two models, 4×2 and 4×4 models. the units are a 110 ponies of power derived from 1.6 liter petrol unit and 85 HP and 110 both produced by a 1.6 liter turbo diesel engine.
The company also will bring the Sandero supermini for the UK market along side with the Dacia Duster. The Sandero supermini will have a price tag no more than or at £7,000.
