Do you know the Hemera? If yes, then now you will not be able to meet the Hemera again since the London- based luxury automaker has just renamed the Hemera to Artemis. Not only the name that is changed, Eterniti also the other parts of the car as it was showed at this year Auto China.
The Artemis displayed in Beijing was indeed prototype model that needs a little step to become the final production model. The Artemis that is set to have arrived on sale this summer brings a totally new front end with a Jaguar- like grille and redesigned headlamps. In addition it also features revamped wheels and a decorative emblem on the sides. Well, now the styling of the Artemis is so far away from the Hemera concept launched at last year’s Frankfurth Motor Show.
The body panels of the Artemis are hand made and created of carbon composite materials. Inside the car you will find some other luxury materials, including fine leathers, quilted under carpets and boot trim, lambswool rugs, and wood veneers or real carbon fiber trims.
The car is benefitted from a Porsche Cayenne- sourced 4.8 liter turbocharged V8 engine that is churning out as much 591 horses or 600 PS and 750 Nm of peak torque. With such output, the Artemis is able to sprint from zero to 100 km/ h or 62 mph in 4.5 seconds sprint time, while reaching a top speed of 290 km/h or around 180 mph.
The company stated that the Artemis will be ready to face against the other luxury SUV segment such as Bentley SUV and Maserati Kubang. The Artemis makes use of high- performance tires size 315/25 that houses 23 inch wheels.
The Artemis can be bought with a price tag of £210,000 or equal to US$335,000 or €255,000 added with the local taxes in all markets. For you who are Chinese people, you may be happy since there is no additional tax for China market.
