Now, the package for you who want a faster, lighter and harder GT- R has arrived in British market. The new Track Pack Edition is offered with a tag price of £10,000 (US$16,000) premium over the standard GT-R that turn into a total price of £84,450.
Unfortunately, the GT- R Track Pack Edition is just offered for UK and Japan in right- hand drive only. However the left- hand drive mode will be available as well in all markets across the globe excluding Russia, Ukraine and for a limited period North America later this year.
The package comprises additional brake cooling ducts built into the new carbon front splitter which are claimed to be able to reduce the operating temperature by as much 100 degrees in track use. On the other hand, the same ducts placed behind the rear wheels channel works to cool air over the rear discs.
The new GT- R is riding on new six-spoke RAYS alloy wheels with gloss black centers that is lighter by ten kilos compared to that of the standard fittings.
As you moves inside, you’ll find that the missing of the rear seats and the two new track- ready, front bucket sport seats crated from fabric and leather plus a Track Pack logo attached on the lower part of the center console.
Although the package is aimed for use on the track and the suspension on the Track Pack model has been tuned, the adjustable dampers enable driver to change the suspension from track for road- use.
For the Track Pack model, the engineers still retain the same power output of 542 bhp with the 3.8 liter V6 turbo engine.
