Some reports recently suggested that Aston Martin would soon say good bye to its current model that has been available in the market for nearly five years by producing a special edition version. It is hinted by the launching of the new DBS sports car empowered by V12 to be available in the market by the end of this year.
The British company’s source had said to an online magazine Car&Driver that the final version of the current DBS model will be dubbed as the Ultimate Edition. Its production will be limited only for a hundred unit examples. The United States was reportedly to get as much 30 units of those cars.
The insider who the name is not stated said that the company would not change and would still retain the same powertrain or suspension as used in the regular DBS to the new Ultimate Edition. On the other hand, the alteration would be identical to the previous year’s DBS Carbon Black Specials. You can take a look on the pictures provided bellow.
Just for giving you an initial imagination of what the Ultimate Edition will look like, let’s recall the DBS Carbon Black first. The DBS Carbon Black specials features bespoke paint colors, exterior and interior trim accents, and alloy wheel designs.
Since the company will soon launch the next generation DBS, it seems the official announcement from Aston Martin about the new Ultimate Edition will not be so long.
