If you find the regular TT RS models are not powerful enough for you to be raced in the track, now the company offers you with the new and more powerful TT RS Plus editions that will have been available in sale this may in Britain.
The TT RS Plus comes in the form of both coupe and roadster with a price tag started from £48,945 for the manual Coupe to £52,265 for the dual-clutch transmission Roadster. It means that the Plus package is higher by £3,085 over the regular RS model.
What makes the new TT RS Plus different from its regular variant is that the engineers have added 20 ponies and 15 Nm or 11.06 lb- ft of torque more derived form the turbocharged inline-five. The total output is 355 horses or nearly 360 PS and 465 Nm or 342.97 lb- ft of peak torque. either a six- speed manual or the seven- speed S tronic twin- clutch transmission are offered that work to transfer the power to the Quattro all- wheel- drive system.
The S tronic enables the new TT RS Plus coupe to sprint from standstill to 62 mph or 100 km/h in just 4.1 seconds sprint time. On the other hand the Roadster needs around 4.2 seconds sprint time using the S tronic, while using the manual it needs 4.4 seconds sprint time. The top speed is reached at 174 mph.
The fuel economy is figured at 33.2 mpg UK at combined cycle for the coupe and 32.8 mpg UK for the roadster variant. In addition, the new TT RS Plus is benefitted from a new pair of 19-inch alloys that mounted on 255/35 tyre, a standard sports exhaust system with black tail pipes, a matt aluminum surround for the revised grille and carbon fiber mirror caps.
The company also offers satellite navigation, Bluetooth phone preparation and Audi Music Interface iPod connection as optional as the Technology Package features.
