The Italian automobile manufacturer, Fiat is proudly present its Abarth 695 Maserati edition for Britain markets. Recently, Fiat also had already announced the pricing for the UK buyers with a price tag starting from £32,000. Sadly, the Abarth 695 Maserati edition will only available at limited run of 499 unit Abarths globally.
Three years ago, the Abarth 695 Maserati Edition that is build based on the Abarth 500 Series convertible version had followed the Abarth 695 Tributo Ferrari project.
The Maserati Special Edition is empowered by a 1.4 liter turbocharged petrol engine that churns out a total power of 180 horses. The unit then mated with an Abarth Competizione automated five-speed transmission with steering wheel controls. In addition, the new special edition has been equipped with larger Brembo brakes, Koni shock absorbers and a variable back-pressure ‘dual mode’ exhaust.
The Abarth 695 Maserati Edition is wrapped in a Maserati- sourced Pontevecchio Bordeaux color with a grey fabric made up the electrically controlled soft top. High- performance tires are also mounted on 17 inch Maserati inspired Neptune design alloy wheels.
Apart of that exterior updates, the company had upgraded the vehicle’s interior as well by applying special sport seats wrapped in sand beige leather, a 695 logo attached on the headrests, black leather steering wheel along with beige leather inserts, dashboard with an exclusive matt- finish carbon lining and gearbox trim completed with new Jaeger brand- made instrument gauges.
Moreover, the new Maserati Edition also features special aluminum pedal unit and sill plates, carbon fibre kick plate with customised Abarth 695 Maserati Edition graphics, and a plate in which the car’s series number from 1 to 499 are written.
Just an additional information for you who want to take this special edition into your garage, just prepare yourself for the first deliveries in the UK that will be kicked off at the end of this year.
