You will remember something when you hear Ugus Sahin. Guess who? Well, as you hear that name, you may recall the past 2007 Ferrari Dino, 2010 Aston Martin Gauntlet and the newest 2011 Soleil Anadi. Yes, Ugus Sahin is a Turkish designer of those aforementioned cars.
One that gathers our interest is the production version of Sahin’s 2007 Chevrolet Corvette Z03 design study. Let’s go back to the past when the coach built Corvette was showed off in the very first flesh at last year’s 2011 Top Marques car show in Monaco. The Corvette itself is planned to be manufactured in a total number of 300 units’ car in which each car brings a price tag of US$299,995.
Recently, an automotive magazine Carscoop has had a chat with Ugus Sahin and he provided some first information about his latest project for a two- door, front- engine Alfa Romeo sports car that is developed in his company namely USD or short of Ugur Sahin Design.
The new car is dubbed as the Alfa Romeo C12 GTS Concept. Ugur Sahin stated that he was actively looking for investors and parties who want to take part in the development and the project of building the production version of the sports coupe.
Through his company Ugur Sahir Design (USD), the young designer says he is actively looking for investors and parties who want to be involved in the project and build a production version of the sports coupe.
The young designer said that the major purpose of the project was to represent Alfa Romeo’s historical stories and design that mated with sharper lines but still with the car’s attractive characters.
The designer makes use of what is he said as the ‘forward- movement’ with the center of the organic lines flow towards the back and around the car with minimum interruption and maximum visual impact. In addition the car is created with two distinguished shape compositions that arousing sporty and aggressive styling design.
