UK markets will have a new entry soon as the new BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe will have arrived there on June this year. For the UK model, the company has already set a price tag starting from the base £61,390 to £70,650.
The first model as the entry grade is the 640i that is priced at £61,390 and empowered by a 3.0 liter twin turbocharged straight- six petrol engine. The unit is able to produce a nice output of 316 horses or roughly 320 PS, the next level, the 640d that makes use of 3.0 liter inline six- cylinder diesel engine that figures a total output of 309 ponies or 313 PS is cost at £63,900, the top level is the 650i that with its 4.4 liter twin- turbo V8 petrol is offered at £70,650. The 650i gets a total power of 444 horses or 450 PS derived from its petrol.
A standard eight- speed automatic transmission is available as standard for all models of the 6 Series Gran Coupe that transfers the power into the rear wheels.
The company also has already equipped its forays with ample of standard features including alloy wheels (18-inch on the 640i/640d, 19-inch on the 650i), Dakota leather upholstery, BMW Professional Navigation with a 10.2-inch high-resolution display, front and rear Park Distance Control, Keyless Go, two-zone climate control, electronic two-way steering adjustment and heated front seats.
An M Sport version is also provided by the Bavarian company with an aero kit, 19-inch M double-spoke light-alloy wheels, black brake calipers, dark exhaust tailpipes, Sports seats, Anthracite headlining, high-gloss Shadowline exterior trim and Aluminium Hexagon interior trim.
BMW stated that the M Sport variants could contribute for nearly eighty per cent of all 6 Series Gran Coupe sales in Britain.
