New Nissan Pixo: Nissan

UK seems to be a quite prosperous target market for some automakers, including Nissan that has just introduced the Pixo for a new model year. Compared to the current Pixo model, the new model year actually is just slightly revamped, featuring a new range of exterior colours, a number of interior enhancements and reduced CO2 emission to 99 g/km.

It means that the new model year Pixo delivers a reduced CO2 emission by 4 g/km to a total number of 99 g/km. well, that achievement may be means nothing for you, yet it takes a big role when dealing with tax and toll savings since it enables the Pixo to reap the tax advantages and makes the car free especially from London congestion fee. Well, we should say thanks to the modification applied to the engine and the improvements of the aerodynamic then.

This Nissan’s city car is empowered by the company’s three- cylinder gasoline engine that is combined with a five- speed manual transmission. The five- speed itself helps the unit to return a combined fuel consumption of 65.7 mpg in UK cycle, while when equipped with the five- speed automatic transmission, the combined fuel economy is figured at 65.7 mpg.

The company has change the colour of the door trims around the glovebox and center console that is previously grey into black colour. In addition, the company has also equipped the new Pixo with an electronic auto- dimming rear view mirror as a standard feature for all trim levels.

Moreover, aside of the existing available shades, the company adds two new colour shades including new metallic colours called Glistening Grey and Midnight Purple. The base price for the UK model is starting from £7,250 for the Visia and rising to £8,250 for the flagship model, the so called ‘n- tec’ five- door model.
