Facelifted 2013 Mazda MX-5 NC3 Revealed in JDM Brochure: Mazda

After the Japanese company decided to end the production of the RX-8, it has already had a plan to present another true sports car to the market across the globe with the so called MX-5 or some of you may know it as Miata.

The MX- 5 NC was first launched in the past 2005 and got the first facelift in 2008, but now Mazda has just done another makeover for the MX-5 NC for the second. Additionally, the MX- 5 NC’s photos have been widely spread since we found a leaked brochure of the vehicle.

The JDM brochure shows that the MX- 5 that is called as the NC3 gets the latest developed front bumper along with a five- point grille and a more curved upper part and revised fog- lamp surrounds adds black bezels for the headlamps, rounding the new appearance of the MX- 5 NC3.

From the second picture of the car that tend to be smaller than the first scanned- picture show us that the NC3 also receives a mounted- ‘active- hood’ that is function to lessen injuries in car- pedestrian accidents.

Looking at the pictures, we can safely guess that the Japanese automaker has also fitted a new alloy wheels and a new assortment of exterior colours into this rear wheel drive roadster model. On the other hand, inside the car there are a newly designed dashboard cowl and a blacked-out instrument panel gauges.

There is no other information we get about the MX-5 NC3. The company may or may not make any change on the chassis and powertrains on the vehicle. Therefore we have to wait a little longer to have the Japanese company’s official release.
