The Bavarian automaker seems having quite well plans to present some new vehicles, such as the BMW ActiveHybrid 3 that is joined in the 3 Series range. Another vehicle is the special edition of the famed M3 Coupe that is specially made for the States in conjunction with the Lime Rock Park racing cicuit’s owner.
The so called new 2013 BMW M3 Coupe Lime Rock Park Edition will only be produced for 200 units example with the first deliveries to be kicked off in September this year.
The new Lime Rock Park Edition brings about $10,000 extra over the standard M3 Coupe to a total of $70,995 along with an $895 destination and handling fee. The company said that the new M3 Coupe special edition has got some enhancements with a range of parts that had been selected through the team work of the owner of the Lime Rock Park, Skip Barber.
In line with the name, Lime, the vehicle is only created in one and the only paint, that is the Fire Orange completed with a carbon fiber composite roof panel completed with Anthracite and Black cloth seating covered with Nappa leather.
The engineers also fitted the new M3 Coupe Lime Rock Park edition with the company’s Competition package, a lightweight inconel-titanium exhaust muffler, an Anthracite Alcantara-covered, flat-bottom steering wheel and carbon fiber front and rear aerodynamic spoilers.
The numbered plaque is attached on the center console of the vehicle, while a bespoke decal is lifted on the left- rear quarter window. The 200 buyers of the Lime Rock Park edition will get certificates of authenticity as well.
