Remember the words; don’t judge the book by its cover. The proverb is also suitable to be referred to car. Well, you may be not interested in the Chevrolet Malibu Eco, yet you will like it when you get this car into the street.

Inside the car, there is dual cockpit instrument panel that covers into the doors. The components used and the finishing are nice. Overall, Malibu Eco offers quietness and comfort with the seats and easy controlled steering wheel, the brakes also stop the vehicle well. The car is empowered by the 2.4 liter four- cylinder engine that is good for 182 horses. The 15 electric motor contributes to the extra of 15 horses. The Malibu Eco that had also fitted with the eAssist mild- hybrid system is able to accelerate from zero to 60 miles per hour in just 8.7 seconds sprint time. The EPA fuel economy is figured at 29 miles per gallon in combined cycle, although in reality based on the first drive, the fuel economy is delivered of 29 mpg.

In term of pricing, the company has set the Malibu Eco to be priced of $25,995 along with delivery fee. Compared to the other models, the Cheverolet Malibu Eco is neither expensive not cheap. It stands somewhere in the middle since some other vehicle start at $20,000 while the other fully loaded models reach $35,000. With such price, the Malibu Eco gets some features offered as standard, such as the Chevy’s MyLink Touch Radio and automatic climate control.

For the non- Eco Malibu, the company has not yet informed the pricing and the fuel consumption. However if compared to the last model Malibu, it seems to be not too far away. Compared to the Chevrolet Cruze, the Eco model features a little smaller backseat and slimmer width. The Eco is not even more spacious compared to the Cruze and it provides some upgrade in power and handling. Additionally, the Malibu Eco is well equipped and it looks more handsome in real than in the picture.
