The new Mercedes- Benz’s creation, new CLS Shooting Brake Series that is produced exclusively for the European buyers will not arrive on the markets until October 6 this year. However the Bavarian automaker has already confirmed about the pricing of the vehicle.
In the local market, Germany, the new Mercedes- Benz CLS Shooting Brake is priced at 61,761 or equal to US$75,850 for the CLS 250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY model that is empowered by a four cylinder diesel engine, producing output of 201 horses or 204 PS, while the higher level, the flagship CLS 63 AMG which is sported by a 5.5 liter bi- turbo V8, churning out as much 518 horses or 525 PS is cost at €117,512.50 or around US$144,320.
In the middle of the two levels, there are three more models, those are the CLS 350 with the gasoline engine V6 with a total output of 302 hp or 306 PS, the CL500 V8 model with as much 402 ponies of power and the last is the CLS 350 CDI diesel engine that is able to churn out as much 262 horses or 265 PS.
The company is also offering the European buyers with limited production CLS 63 AMG Edition 1 variant that comes with an even more powerful performance, the force- fed V8 that is so good for as much 550 ponies or 557 PS of power and 800 Nm of peak torque. it comes along with bespoke details and features. However, unfortunately, the company has not confirmed yet about how much we need to buy this CLS 63 AMG Edition 1.
Just to remind you that some time ago, the company’s spokesman who had a chat with an online magazine named Autonews Europe, the famed automaker would not sell the Shooting Brake model in the United States due to the continued aversion to wagons by the States car buyers.
