Being different from the Peugeot RCZ that is available for markets across Europe and also some selected countries around the globe such as Australia, the new special edition model of the Peugeot RCZ Onyx is exclusively offered fro only France and Germany.
The special edition of the 2+2 coupe that is available in limited run only will be available with a choice of two engines lineup, those are a 1.6 liter turbocharged inline- four petrol and a 2.0 liter HDI turbo diesel. The first one is able to generate as much 154 horses or equal to 156 PS, the second engine is good for 161 Hp or 163 PS. The diesel model is claimed to deliver more torque than that of the petrol unit.
The France and Germany buyers are able to choose a choice of four offered body paints, including the Blanc Opale, Gris Sidobre, Gris Haria and Noir Perla Nera. The four body colours are available along with a roof finished in carbon fiber, polished front grille and door mirror caps completed with 19 inch wheels decorated in a Midnight Silver color
Moving inside the cabin, we will find some additional features such as the two tone fabric upholstered- sport seats matched with the silver stitching, the same treatment also applied on the dashboard and the center console as well.
In creating the Onyx the engineers did not only emphasize on the car’s aesthetics, but also gave an attention on the features by bringing some extras including the ‘Comfort’ and ‘Sport’ packges, and a navigation system.
The company sets the RCZ Onyx to be priced at €34,500 or around US$42,200 for the diesel engine, while for the petrol unit, it costs at €32,000 roughly US$39,200.
