Audi A5 and S5 Coupe, Cabriolet and Sportback now come in stylish style and engine changing in all model except the top-shelf RS 5.
The Audi A5 and A6 receive a completely new headlight design also with a totally redesigned front bumper and subtly tweaked grille design. The Audi A5 is retaining its previous profile. A noticeable changing appears on its rear in which paired a new bumper and redesigned taillights along with optional LED driving lights.
The interior of A5 receives a finished instrument panel and centre console and new steering wheel designs. The Automatic models are equipped with a new gear selector, an updated MMI infotainment and navigation system along with a new toggle-stick controller, and a number of trim updates. New column stalks, a new ignition key and new air-conditioning controls are also now available.
As well as the new Volkswagen Passa and the Audi A6, the A5 range also gets a new Active Lane Assist option that able to help the driver stay in the current lane by reading lane markings while making slight suggestive adjustments.
Every model of A5 range receives new rear suspension bearings and damper tuning, along with a revised electromechanical power steering system. The standard wheels are globally available on 17 inch alloy wheels and the size option set up to 20 inches.
A 125 kW four-cylinder 1.8 TFSI petrol engine empowers the A5 at European market, figuring 4.7 l/100 km fuel consumption. 157 kW output are produced by the current 2.0 liter TFSI engine while the 3.0 liter TFSI V6 engine has joined the line-up producing 200 kW output.
Diesel engines, 3.0 litre TDI V6 in 150kW, 180kW trims and a new euro VI-compliant diesel will join the range sometime later. It rumored that the S5 Coupe is now employing the same 245kW 3.0 litre supercharged V6 as it paired into the Sportback and Cabriolet models to replace its 4.2 liter V8 engine. Its output drop by 15 kW but it pushes the Coupe to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds, faster 0.2 seconds compared to those of V6.
The time about its Australian debut remain unclear and Audi Australia has yet to be announced the certain timing.
