The pricing of the latest car model of Chrysler Group had been announced by Chrysler Group newly formed SRT brand. Those include four latest model, the 2012 Chrysler 300 SRT8, the 2012 Dodge Charger SRT8, the 2012 Dodge Challenger SRT8 392 and the 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8.
The price of the Chrysler 300 SRT8 starts from $47,995, the Dodge Charger SRT8 cost at $46,660, the Challenger SRT8 at $44,077 while $55,295 for the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8. Those prices are including the destination fee at $825.
A Chrysler Group’s new 6.4 liter HEMI V8 along with Fuel Saver Technology empowers the all four SRT8 models, producing the output of 470 horsepower or 351 kW and 470 lb-ft or 637 Nm of pear torque but 465 lb.-ft. / 630 Nm in the Grand Cherokee SRT8.Let’s take a look more detail on each model’s performance. First, the 2012 Chrysler 300 SRT8, can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph or 96 km/ h at 4 seconds and ¼ mile in 12 second. The 300 SRT8 reach its top speed of 175 mph.
Next is the 2012 Dodge Charger SRT8 which accelerates in 4 seconds from standstill to 60 mph and quarter mile in 12 seconds while reaching the top speed of 175 mph.
The third is 2012 Dodge Challenger SRT8 392 that accelerate from 0 to 60 mph at 4 seconds and in automatic transmission sprints the ¼ mile in mid-12 seconds while when using manual transmission at high 12 seconds. 182 mph top speed reached with the manual transmission and 175 mph with automatic.
The top speed of 160 mph is achieved by 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8. 4.8 seconds acceleration time achieved from standstill to 60 mph. The SRT range just has improved by the Detroit automaker in-house performance division.
