The debut of the 2012 Civic Hatchback will soon be made at the Frankfurt Motor Show for the European market. However, a sneak peak of this ninth generation Civic hatchback model with photos of a camouflaged prototype and a video had been given by Honda earlier, explaining there are some changes under the body of the car.
The Europe market is where the civic hatchback exclusively addressed for, as the result civic hatchback will be separated from the North American four- door sedan and the two- door coupe models which share the same name.
The photos of the test car indicate that Honda is retaining the edgy design of the ongoing model such as the hidden door handles that paired away at the corners of the rear windows. However, the new Civic model will be available in a little longer passenger space.
Honda mounts a greatly upgraded suspension into the European Civic which is placed under its sheet metal. That upgraded suspension will obviously improve the cars ride quality, comfort and also handling and body control.
Set apart from its competitors in the C- segment for example the Golf which offers totally independent, attached an attractive multi- link suspension system at the rear, Honda claimed that Civic has achieved this in retaining a rear torsion beam.
