BMW decided to throw away larger displacement engines option in order to achieve smarter and more efficient powerplants which will meet the need of the customers to a world- class performance level.
The new 2011 BMW 740 Li is empowered by the N54 twin turbocharged direct injected 3.0 liter inline six- cylinder engine mounted to six- speed automatic transmission, producing output 315 horsepower at 5,800 rpm. The suspension is available in two modes, Sport or Sport+. The 740i produces the C02 emission at 17 mpg city and 25 mpg highway.
The car features some changed include a more aggressive front fascia along with larger sculpted air inlets and faux canards down low. The nose of the car had been restyled and which is backed up by an attractive 19 inch split spoke M wheels covered with Goodyear 245/ 45/ R19 rubber.
