The 2012 Infiniti FX now gets distinctive new front fascia which is heavily based on the Infiniti’s newest design as it first applied on the Infiniti Essence Concept from the 2009 Geneva Motor Show. This revised version of the Infiniti FX will arrive on October 2011 and soon can be seen on your local dealership. Fortunately, as well as the new front fascia, the 2012 Infiniti FX also gets a little bump in its price.
Furthermore a new 20-inch wheel design and a slightly reworked instrument cluster have been applied to the new face of 2012 Infiniti FX. The new FX35 Limited Edition model comes in an exclusive Iridium Blue exterior color completed with black painted exterior finishes and unique 21-inch wheels. As the Infiniti has planned to build the LE model in limited number production at only 550 units for North America, it means you should be ready to grab it as fast as possible.
The same powertrain which was found on the ongoing Infiniti is retained on this new 2012 model. Powered by 3.5-liter V6, the FX35 produces 303 hp while the FX50 empowered by a 5.0-liter V8, producing 390 hp. Both 3.5-liter V6 and 5.0-liter V8 engines are mounted to a seven-speed automatic gearbox that receives optional paddle shifters just on the FX50. The FX50 is completed with all- wheel drive as standard while that on the FX35 comes as optional.
Compared to the previous models, the 2012 Infiniti FX model is slightly more expensive. The base FX35 starts from $43,450 and the FX50 at $59,350. While the price $51,550 is for the new Limited Edition FX35 which has completed with all- wheel drive.
