BMW has announced that the company will employ all- wheel drive or truly, anything other than rear wheel drive a while ago. It seemed the plan was just a fictional story. In fact these days the Bavarian automaker offers wheel at all four corners on a various gaining vehicle, for example the X5 M and X6 M crossover. However, a BMW M5 all- wheel drive, can you believe it? If you continue reading this article, you may be shocked knowing that BMW M5 beside planned to use all- wheel drive but a diesel powertrain as an extra driveshaft is estimated to be placed in the M5 as well.
The rumor widely spread due to an obviously official document which covers a model which has been chosen, M550X. it is said that the M550dX will be empowered by a new triple- turbo diesel inline- six which is planned to be revealed at the next Frankfurt Motor Show. Letter‘d’ on the M550dX will be most likely refers to diesel fuel which will be burn by the vehicle, while the last ‘X’ letter refers to all- wheel drive of course.
These days most of the M cars employ simpler plate names such as the M3 or M5, however you should recall that the first products of the division, BMW, was the M535i, rather complicated name in which the car was launched in the past 1979, long long ago before the first launch of M5 in 1984. BMW might be having a plan to return to such nomenclature name for the first diesel and all- wheel drive performance sedan from its division. Just wait to see what BMW will do for this M5 diesel, all wheel drive.
