Lotus will not reveal their six new concepts as well as at the Paris Motor Show last year, but they have a trick to bring the two models of the exotic. First up is the Evora GTE road concept car we’ve been anticipating since last month, the which looks poised to take a page out of the Lotus Exige less Matte Black Final Editionweight, more power playbook employed on Such favorites as the Ferrari 430 Scuderia and Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera. The concept starts with the race car and Evora GTE retunes it for the road, with 420 horsepower on tap, a competition-spec sequential gearbox and center-locking forged aluminum wheels.
If you are looking for something more tangible than a concept car, however, will also be unveiling the Lotus Exige Matte Final Edition. Exclusive for North America, the special Exige, as you might have guessed, offers a precious goodbye to the lightweight sports car with a flat black paint job, plus black Alcantara interior and an upgraded 257 hp. The new Lotus Evora GTE Road Car Concept will be unveiled to the world for the first time within the Lotus exhibit at the McCall’s Motorworks Revival event Wednesday night, August 17, at the Monterey Jet Center.

To mark the end of an era of Exige production, Lotus has created the Exige Matte Black Final Edition – exclusively for North America. The Exige is one of the world’s greatest sports cars, and this Final Edition of the motoring icon will premiere within the Lotus exhibit on Peter Hay Hill near The Lodge at Pebble Beach Thursday, August 18 through Sunday, August 21.
With power upgraded to 257 bhp, an exclusive Matte Black paint finish providing a stealthy presence, black Alacantara sport seats and a high level of standard equipment, the Exige Matte Black Final Edition makes a striking statement.
