The Japanese carmaker claimed that since June 26, they have started accepting orders for the new Mirage and now the total order for the new model is reaching more than 5,000 units by the end of July. The company itself is expecting for as many 30,000 unit examples by the end of 2012…

 New Mitsubishi Mirage to be Offered in the States from Fall 2013

Mitsubishi has been at disadvantage since a few years ago in the global market. However now the Japanese automaker try to grow itself again and increase its sales on the market, especially in developing markets by introducing the new Mirage. It is said that the new Mitsubishi Mirage will be offered in the United States starting from next year…

An online publication, Car and Driver, suggested that the Japanese automaker will most likely unveil the U.S, specification of its Mirage at the next year’s New York Auto Show that will be kicked off in April. Following the revealing, in September the Mirage will have arrived on sale…

In addition it is also said that the Mirage that will be offered with a three- cylinder petrol engine is the third model offered in the States after the Smart Fortwo and the upgraded 2014 Ford Fiesta. Thus, the spreading rumors that the Mitsubishi Mirage will be available with a larger four- cylinder unit are left just as rumors.  Nissan and Mitsubishi Reveal a Quadruple of Jointly Developed Minicars for Japan

The two Japanese automakers, Nissan and Mitsubishi are life harmoniously proven by their joint venture in developing the so called Quadruplets minicar. The minicar that was exclusively developed for Japanese buyers had been officially revealed and will arrive on sale across the Japan dealerships in June 2013. The minicar quadruplets will be known as Nissan DAYS and DAYZ Highway STAR, Mitsubishi eK Wagon and eK Custom.

A joint statement had been said by the two brands that the NMKV Co., Ltd., which is a joint venture formed by Nissan and Mitsubishi Motors created to build minicars for the Japanese market was the one that plan the production and the development of the new minicars model…

The two automakers did had a presentation that showcased the four minicar models and at the occasion, the brands stated that they would finish the development of a second new minicar series that would be called as a super height tall wagon. The second series models are expected to be unveiled at the beginning of next year…

Just for your information, the joint venture between Nissan and Mitsubishi had been formed from the past 2010 in which the two had already built some cars such as the Mitsubishi Proudia and Dignity that was built based on the Infiniti M and the Infiniti M35L LWB that is widely known as the new Nissan Cima in Japan…
